Director-turned-writer Soham Shah marked a significant milestone in his career as Anupam Kher unveiled his debut novel, "Blood Moon," amidst a gathering of industry stalwarts and well-wishers. The event, held in Mumbai, witnessed the presence of esteemed actor Jackie Shroff, along with notable personalities like Malvika Raaj and many more who came together to support the director-turned-author on his special day.

Renowned actor Anupam Kher, who unveiled the book, expressed his pleasure at being part of the occasion, highlighting the quality of Soham Shah's body of work and his affinity for the horror and thriller genre. "It's a pleasure to launch a book written by Soham, whose body of work is good, and I love the horror and thriller genre," said Kher, emphasizing his understanding of the sentiments involved in the creative process.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, Jackie Shroff shared his thoughts, saying, "It is a fantastic occasion. The common thing between Soham and me is films and food. I came on his special day to support him," underscoring the camaraderie and shared passion for cinema between the two industry veterans.

Soham conveyed his appreciation to Anupam Kher and Jackie Shroff for making the launch memorable with their love and blessings. He also extended his thanks to Bharti Pradhan and Komal Nahata for their contributions in making the evening special.

Speaking about his debut novel, "Blood Moon," published by Om Books International Soham described it as a paranormal thriller crafted during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing inspiration from his interactions with the legendary writer Ruskin Bond during a master class and shoot in Mussoorie, Shah delved into the craft of storytelling, culminating in the creation of his first novel. Reflecting on the journey from conception to publication, Shah expressed hope that "Blood Moon" would resonate with readers and serve as a catalyst for his future literary endeavors. 

Throughout the event, Soham and his wife, Binal, personally attended to all guests, further adding to the warmth and hospitality of the occasion.
