Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, eastern India’s fastest-growing e-waste management company that collects and channelizes electronic and electrical waste across 18 states in the country, conducted a two-week e-waste collection drive in the city of Kolkata on the occasion of World Environment Day in June 2023. More than 3.5 tons of e-waste was collected from households and individuals and nearly 100 tons of e-waste was collected from various corporates.

Hulladek organized an extensive collection drive and collected approximately 40,000 Kg of e-waste from Mondelez, 900 Kg from Red Bull, 488 Kg of e-waste from the German Consulate office,100 Kgs from Berger Paints, 120 Kg from Max Muller Bhavan & 130 Kg from Fab India.

“We have seen a significant rise in the number of corporates taking interest in the e-waste management segment and in making sure their waste reaches the right hands. We are happy to have been serving such companies for e-waste management and recycling across Kolkata,” said Nandan Mall, Founder & Managing Director, Hulladek Recycling Private Limited.

Companies and factories in Kolkata have usually been conscious of the waste and pollution being generated in their operations and have actively taken part in initiatives to combat this rising concern. Hulladek Recycling provides such companies with waste management services that enable them to channelize their e-waste strictly within the guidelines provided by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). This serves a two-pronged objective - to ensure that the hazardous electronic and electrical waste is not diverted towards landfills and the informal sector leading to mismanagement of waste, and to ensure that companies are getting their due monetary return out of the waste they are sending for recycling. Furthermore, Hulladek provides proper documentation through forms and certificates that can be included by companies in their audit reports.
