Sidharth Shukla breathed his last on Thursday, September 2. The reason behind the actor's sudden demise is reportedly a severe heart attack. The news has left the entertainment industry, his friends, fans and well-wishers heartbroken. He was just 40 and many are yet to come in terms of this loss. His untimely death is making everyone face the harsh realities of life being uncertain and unpredictable. The concept of long-term planning seems stale. Life is in the present, here and now. Apart from paying their respects and remembering their fine actor and colleague, celebrities also share views on why it is important to celebrate life:

It was the most shocking news I have heard after landing in Mumbai. He was an amazing person and my senior. I really wonder if human life is so cheap that anyone is dying anytime. Life begins at 40 and he died at 40. I am speechless. I attended the funeral and want to disconnect as the flashes of Sidharth are coming to mind. I wish all the strength to his mom, his family, and Shehnaz. May his soul rest in peace.

Sidharth Shukla’s death has come as a big shock to all of us. It also made me question my way of living. Am I really living life the right way because literally after Sushant Singh Rajput this is the second death that we've come across which is unpredictable, shocking and unbelievable? These people did not lack anything in life, I mean in terms of money, fame, contacts, but the question still arises are we living the right way? I don't think so because literally after Covid, after so many things that have gone off the track since last year it's obvious that in day-to-day life people have started to have so many problems and insecurities that they can't share with others or even share their closed ones. It feels like we have never faced such a situation before. I have observed a few things and I am trying to even practice it in real life. I think people should have self-control and make the most of their time and live mindfully, effortlessly. Seek a roadmap leading to personal enlightenment. There used to be a time where people used to think after 10 years this is how my life is going to be. But they should stop thinking that, focus on the present and give importance to both their mental and physical health. Your happiness should be your priority. Stay healthy, eat healthy, smile a lot, love, be kind, help each other and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I feel I am learning every day, especially the past two years has made me realize that our life is uncertain. So we should celebrate every moment and accept things. I don't have much expectations, I just work hard, and try to find my happiness and peace in the little joys of life. That's the key. Life is not perfect for anyone, we have to understand and accept the same, and move on.

I was literally in shock and at a loss of words after hearing the news. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and all his fans. With Covid life has certainly been more unpredictable. Our parents taught us to save for the future but it seems like times have changed now. It is the present that matters the most. My idea of celebrating life is to give your 200% in anything and everything you choose to do in a day, being in the moment and spending time with your loved ones.

It was an absolute shock. I thought it was a rumour and it took me some time to believe this actually happened. May his soul rest in peace. Life is too unpredictable and all we do is think about the future ignoring the present all the time. Living in the present, taking care of one’s own self and our loved ones are the things we should concentrate on. Not saying to ignore the future and stop long-term planning completely, but also learn to live in the moment and make the most out of your time today wasting thinking about the future. I enjoy both my work and my personal life, and let things come my way as and when they have to. The best way to celebrate life is by being grateful for what you have rather than being unhappy about what you wished for but don’t have yet. Life is much more than all our stress and worries.

I just want to say I’m shocked and don’t have enough words to say how this news has made me realise how unpredictable life is. You never know what’s going to happen next. Covid has changed our life completely. We are losing so many people, so many of our near and dear ones that we have lost count and it really breaks my heart looking at what is happening around.

Sidharth Shukla’s demise was both unfortunate and shocking. These days, anything can happen to anyone at any time. Long-term planning definitely seems stale now. It feels like it's better to take one day at a time. But we are humans, we always plan for the future, it’s just inbuilt in us I guess. I extend my deepest condolences to the Shukla family. May his soul rest in peace.
