Kolkata Centre For Creativity (KCC) is hosting its annual conference on Performing Performance, on September 3 and 4 with Performance As Research being the theme. The programme has been curated by stalwart academicians Urmimala Sarkar and Prof Ananda Lal and aims to explore the potentialities of research on performance with a variety of subthemes like:
· Creative dialogues between theatre and research: PaR in theatre research
· Practice as Research: Pedagogical possibilities
· Writing dance- Dancing research: PaR and dance research
· Practice as / based/ led Research
The conference shall feature keynote speakers, an invited scholar panel, a young scholar forum and performance and discussion. The timing of the conference is between 10 am to 6 pm.
