Bolpur: The three-day SMC MedExpo 2025 was held at Santiniketan Medical College and Hospital from 1st March to 3rd March.

Private Nursing Homes And Hospitals Owners' Association and in collaboration
with West Bengal Media Forum, Positive Message and Bengal Clinical
Establishment Owners Association, this mega event showcased the country's
health infrastructure development and modern medical equipment.
About 1,000 doctors,
2,000 nursing home and hospital owners and authorities, and more than 150
medical equipment manufacturers participated in this SMC MedExpo 2025. Experts
directly and indirectly associated with the health field, where modern medical
technology, health service delivery methods, and medical research were discussed
in detail.
Along with this
mega event, the 16th International Science Conference will be held under the
initiative of the World Science Congress, where scientists, researchers, and
students from home and abroad participated. Med said that important research
papers on modern medicine, biotechnology, gene therapy, cancer research, and the
future of health management were also presented. Renowned liver disease
and liver transplantation Specialist in Asia Dr. Suresh Singhvi, renowned
radiologist of the country Dr. K. Prabhakar Reddy, Dr. Sushant Banerjee, along
with eminent doctors of the country were among the luminaries present at the
expo. The convenor of Expo'25 was Malay Peet, the principal of Santiniketan Medical
College.
Estella 2K25, an annual
cultural event for the students of Santiniketan Medical College, was also held from March 1 to March 3. The festival highlighted the creative skills of the students.
