Pioneering Work in Artistic Crafts (1920s-1930s) by Uma Das Gupta
(Former Research Professor, Social Science Division, Indian
Statistical Institute, Kolkata),
tracing Sriniketan’s contribution to the artistic crafts
movement in Santiniketan.
· Thakur Barir Saaj Poshak by
Reba Som (Historian & Writer), featuring a choreographed
fashion show by Neelay Sengupta, exploring colonial modernity
and Brahmo dress codes in
Bengal.
· Spinning Weaving Songs:
Folk Tales of Bengali Female Spinners narrated by Sangeeta
Datta, with a musical performance by Dipannita Acharya and Band
(Folk Foundation).
The performances are curated by Dr. Sangeeta Datta.
