FICCI participated in the 55th International Film Festival of India and the 18th Film Bazaar in Goa as the industry partner for the Bazaar’s flagship initiatives, the VFX & Tech Pavilion and the Market Pavilion. FICCI invited brands to exhibit at the Film Bazaar to showcase their latest offerings and technological advancements in Media and Entertainment.
FICCI also became the official partner of the NFDC Film Bazaar’s Producer’s Meet-Up and successfully organized the producer’s networking meetups on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of November. Additionally FICCI held an India-Spain networking event to strengthen bilateral Film Collaboration between the two countries where the newly elected President Juan Manuel Guimerans participated, along with a high-level Spanish delegation consisting of Anna Saura, renowned Spanish producer Camilo Vazquez, Institute for Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts ICAA, Ministry of Culture, Government of Spain, Vicente Gomis of Spain Tourism, ICEX Commercial Office in India & Guillermo RodrÃguez, director - Casa de la India.
Over the 5 days at the Bazaar, FICCI managed to connect more than 500 global and Indian content producers and distributors, resulting in more than 700+ Business to Business meetings. By creating collaborative spaces for producers and creators, FICCI & NFDC’s Film Bazaar aims to catalyze growth, innovation, and cultural exchange, reaffirming India's leadership in the global entertainment landscape.
