Columbaas Digiplex released "Shock Studio," an innovative musical initiative at Klubb 10, a fantastic club located in Gariahat, Kolkata, in the presence of Pandit Debojyoti Bose, director Jiit Chakroborty, music director Pinaki Bose, and celebrated singers and musicians including Saikat Mitra, Somlata Acharyya, Ujjaini Mukherjee, Tirtha Bhattacharjee, and Shameek, Aasmani, Sourav, and Snehendu on Wednesday, August 7.
Sukanya Gupta, of
Columbaas Digiplex, described Shock Studio as a groundbreaking approach to
presenting diverse genres of music in a fusion form or otherwise, such as
blending Rabindrasangeet with classical music, folk with bhajans, and classical
music with contemporary styles.
Director Jiit
emphasized that the aim of Shock Studio is to engage listeners with various
musical tastes and present traditional music in a way that appeals to the
younger generation.
Pandit Debojyoti
Bose highlighted the collaborative effort of highly talented and renowned
singers and musicians, including, Nachiketa, Somlata Acharyya, Shovan, Iman
Chakraborty, Manomoy Bhattacharya, Saikat Mitra, Pinaki Bose and others.
Shock Studio will be available on the YouTube channel "Columbaas Digiplex" and on all major audio platforms such as Gaana, Saavn, Spotify, Wynk, and more.
