Monsoon in Mumbai is not just a season; it's an experience that uplifts the mood and refreshes the soul. This magical weather inspired Shubhangi Atre, popularly known as Angoori Bhabi from &TV's Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, to step out for an impromptu photoshoot. The actress's stunning photos are now making waves online. Shubhangi was seen in a vibrant red and white saree, her hair flowing freely, exuding elegance and traditional charm against the backdrop of Mumbai's iconic Kali Peeli taxi and the majestic Gateway of India. In other shots, she switched to a breezy white dress, capturing the serene beauty of the sea.

Reflecting on her monsoon adventure, Shubhangi aka Angoori Bhabhi shared, "Monsoon is my favourite season. There's an unparalleled joy and relief in stepping out during this time. These photos, which have received so much praise, were taken by a friend, not a professional photographer. I have always wanted to capture such moments in Mumbai's heart, and this season gave me the perfect opportunity."

She continued, "I am overwhelmed by the love these pictures are receiving. Nature has always been a muse for me, whether it's the lush greenery of Malshej Ghat or the vibrant life of Mumbai. I always wanted to capture Mumbai's unique charm during the monsoons, and I am thrilled with the results."

However, Shubhangi emphasized the importance of safety during the rainy season. "I encourage everyone to step out and enjoy the monsoon but please take precautions. Heavy rains can be challenging, so it's best to venture out when the weather is gentle." When asked if she has faced any challenges during the monsoon, the actress responded, "Of course, while Mumbai looks amazing this season, however, it also brings with it a lot of challenges. One incident I will never forget was the shooting of a rainy sequence for my very first show. It was a night scene, and even though it was the monsoon season, we had to use artificial rain to continue the shoot. The shoot lasted almost 12 hours, and I was shivering. After every take, I would run to sit near a small fire arrangement they had set up in a sigdi (small brazier). After we finished, I came down with a fever and a cold. Our profession demands a lot from us, but later, I was happy because our fans loved that scene."

Watch Shubhangi Atre as Angoori Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, airing every Monday to Friday only on &TV!
