Friday evening, July 8, saw the grand premiere of Milan Bhowmik’s ‘Koli O Arjun’ at Bijoli cinema hall. Present were the entire cast and crew. Visibly excited was actress Indrani Dutta who interacted with the media and posed with fans for photos and selfies. Directed by Subhankar Bhowmik, the film revolves around the deep bond of a brother and sister Koli and Arjun played by Indrani Dutta and Raaj Bhowmik who live with their father, a retired schoolmaster. Both face problems in their love lives. How they overcome their personal issues forms the rest of the story.
Also starring are
Minasree Sarkar as Arjun’s love interest Misti, Kharaj Mukherjee, Subhadra Chakraborty,
Joy Mukherjee, Biswajit Chakraborty, and Santana Bose along with the legendary
actor, the late Soumitra Chatterjee, in a special role.
